Mock Trial 2021

This year, the Shenandoah Mock Trial team competed over Zoom which presented unique challenges not usually encountered in competition. The case was a civil case involving a lightning strike that occured at a concert venue resulting in the death of an attendant. There were two teams in the class. The first team included Erin Baldwin, Brooke Bauer, Carter Ruzek, Avery Martin, Jessica Sun, Baylee Richardson, and Riley Hunter. The second team included Elizabeth Rooker, Carter Backus, Jaiden Egbert, Amelia Mattes, David Rendon, Braden Knight, Tysen Shaw, and Olivia McAlpin. Several students received outstanding awards. Those receiving outstanding witness awards include Brooke Bauer, Jaiden Egbert, Avery Martin, and Riley Hunter. Outstanding Lawyers include Erin Baldwin, Braden Knight, and Olivia McAlpin.
