October 5th – World Day of Bullying Prevention (Blue Shirt Day)
On October 5, 2026, the world will mark the 20th Annual World Day of Bullying Prevention, also known as Blue Shirt Day, to raise awareness and promote kindness against bullying.
What It Is:
The World Day of Bullying Prevention is observed on the first Monday of October each year. It was created by STOMP Out Bullying, the U.S. leading anti-bullying and cyberbullying organization, to encourage schools, communities, and organizations to work together to stop bullying and cyberbullying.
On Monday, October 5th, we encourage all of our students and staff to wear BLUE to show that we are anti-bullying here at Shenandoah!
