Substitute Training Meeting
The Shenandoah Community School District is seeking qualified Substitute Teachers for the 2018-2019 school year. Qualifications include: current teaching license, substitute license, or substitute authorization through the Iowa BOEE. Substitute training will be held on August 15th from 8AM to 3:30PM.
Training will include technology in the classroom, safety protocols, and some instructional strategies used in our classrooms. There will also be time provided to complete online classes required by our district. Our district pays substitute teachers $120/day.
