JK-8 Weekly Update
JK-8 Families-- One of the great pleasures of being a building principal is witnessing numerous interactions, every day, that make me smile! I try to make it outside, as often as possible, to greet students at morning drop off. Although impossible to greet every student, it is great to see positive interactions between students and whomever is dropping them off. I want to take this moment to commend you (or whomever you have drop your student off) for starting their day with a positive push out the door and into the building. A simple... "have a great day", "love you", or "do your best" can go a long way. Keep up the good work!
Don't forget that MONDAY is PICTURE DAY! Whether you are purchasing pictures or not, every student will get their picture taken and this is the picture that is used for the yearbook. Your student should have brought home an ordering packet or you might be getting emails from Lifetouch, you can order either way. If you don't have information to order, contact the office and we can help.
Attention sixth, seventh, and eighth graders... Neon Nights Middle School Mixer is just around the corner on October 8th! Tickets will go on sale next Monday, September 26th from 7:30-7:55am outside the MS office and the MS concession stands. The price is $5 if you purchase next week and you will get your name in a raffle twice for some sweet merch! Not only do we have a great band and DJ, we have an activity center full of glow games including mini golf, cornhole, and Four square, plus concessions, prizes, and much more! Don't be the one to miss this "first of its kind" event in the history of SMS!
