Weekly Update Nov 14
JK-8 Families-- You thought the Fall was busy? Just wait until mid-November through the end of February! Maybe you have kids in scouts, dance, a sport, or something else and then you throw in the concerts, various programs, Thanksgiving, shopping, picking up leaves, or trying to get to see all your extended family over the holidays. The calendar can get really busy, really fast!
With all that busyness, remember to slow down and enjoy each of these moments! Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the what, we forget the why. I hope you are able to take some time over the next few months to stay grounded in the why. Be happy, be kind, be forgiving, be thoughtful, and make someone proud to know you.
This week, we will celebrate our teachers with their annual awards banquet for Teacher and Associate of the Year. This week is American Education Week and it would be awesome for you or your student to say "thank you" to as many people in the education field during the upcoming days. From our bus drivers to our classroom teachers, cafeteria workers, associates, maintenance crew, substitutes, and administrative staff, it takes a very large team to make each school day operate. I hope you will take some time this week to share a "thank you" to these awesome people!
This week we also start middle school boys basketball so we want to wish them good luck on their season. The girls will be starting practice soon followed by the wrestlers getting ready for their season.
