Weekly Update Oct 31

JK-8 Families--  Happy Halloween!  I hope everyone has enjoyed the three day weekend but I also hope that you don't send us sugar high students on Monday!

Thank you to everyone who showed up for Parent/Teacher Conferences.  Based on our teacher responses, it looks like we had around 90% participation!  Thank you for being a big part of our student successes!

As we head into November, the weather will start to get a bit colder.  Elementary families, please make sure you are sending your students in clothes that are appropriate for outside recess.  If they need a coat or hat/gloves, please make sure to send those.  Very rarely do we not go outside.

Some upcoming events:

This week is Red Ribbon Week, it would be great to see our students participate in our daily dress ups:

Monday - Wear Red

Tuesday - Hat Day

Wednesday - Crazy Sock Day

Thursday - Sunglasses

Friday - School Pride

Thursday, November 4 we will be having picture retakes.  If your student wasn't here on the original date or if they need to have a retake, please make sure they have stopped in the office to pick up a new form.

Friday and Saturday, November 5 and 6, at 7 PM, Matilda Jr will be presented.  We can't wait to see all our students in action!

Thursday, November 11 the 4th grade will be presenting their Veterans Day music concert.  This will take place in the K-8 Commons starting at 5:30.

As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.  Thank you!  --Mr. Burdorf #horsepower
