Dr. Timothy Smith has been appointed to the Shenandoah CSD Board of Education to fill the current vacancy.  Timothy currently practices Internal Medicine at the Shenandoah Medical Center. He has a strong interest in education and serves as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, has been a mentor for medical students and has served in various leadership roles.   Timothy’s wife, Amanda, is a dentist in Shenandoah. They are both committed to the community and are members of Rotary International.     

Boards are required to fill vacancies within 30 days.  Due to the timing of the appointment, Timothy Smith's name will not be on the ballot.  In order to retain his position on the School Board, he will need to be elected as a "write-in" candidate.
