Iowa Quality Preschool Program Standards (IQPPS)
Iowa school districts that operate Statewide Voluntary Preschool Programs or provide early childhood special education instructional services are required to meet approved preschool program standards. There are three approved preschool program standards in Iowa: National Association for the Education of Young Children Program Standards and Accreditation Criteria, Head Start Program Performance Standards, and the Iowa Quality Preschool Program Standards. The Shenandoah Community School District has chosen to adopt the Iowa Quality Preschool Program Standards.
